Why is colour management important to your workflow?

Colour management is critical to my workflow. I first started with a calibrated Apple display in 1996 and later moved to GretagMacbeth calibration devices; the foundation of what is now Calibrite. Today, Calibrite tools ensure my colour stays accurate and consistent from capture through to print. The only time I ever tried another brand of screen calibrator, I ended up with pink elephants…

What would you say is your greatest achievement to this day?

To setup colour management for Reuters Global picture desks and to train their teams on using Photoshop within specified parameters.

What is an interesting fact about yourself?

Things always happen in threes…

What is a top tip for people who aspire to do what you do?

Work hard, persevere and practice.
