When was the original ColorChecker created?

It started in 1976, when three scientists gave the world its first true color reference, a small card built to tell the truth about color under any light.

What products carry on the original ColorChecker lineage?

From the ColorChecker Classic in your bag to the Digital SG in your studio, the whole family carries that same original DNA forward. Every Calibrite ColorChecker on the market today descends directly from the original 1976 chart.

What is included in the 50th Anniversary gear?

The 50th Anniversary gear isn't for sale. It's a small run of pieces given to Color Perfectionists who keep color honest, through prizes, giveaways, and the occasional tap on the shoulder. Twenty four squares, fifty years. Given, not bought.
