Joanna is a beauty and fashion photographer based in Costa del Sol, Spain. She started her photography journey 15 years ago in her home country of Poland. Joanna worked for many years in London. Her photos were greatly influenced by Renaissance paintings there, and London was also where she discovered the power of colour! She now lives and works in Spain, shooting in a sunny location, where she is also an educator.

Why is color management important to your workflow?

Colors tell a story. I take a lot of care in order to have these colors right harmonious. So color management is a very important to me as I want my clients and public to see exactly what I intended.

What would you say is your greatest achievement to this day?

Hitting 1 million views on YouTube with one of my videos on Color Theory.

What is an interesting fact about yourself?

In my free time I fence epee and play the piano.

What is a top tip for people who aspire to do what you do?

Assist other photographers and test, test, test!
