Calibrite PROFILER – Software will not launch

In response to the following scenario/questions:

 

The Solution:

If you have just installed the application and are getting the pulsating application screen restarting the computer often fixes the issue.

 

If you are using multiple monitor system and have the displays mirrored or duplicated it can prevent the application from starting correctly. Please close the application and ensure that you use an extended desktop between the displays.

If you still require the mirrored/duplicated option for your displays, it can be set back to this after the profiling process is complete.

 

If you have ccProfiler, ccStudio, X-Rite i1Profiler, i1Studio, or the associated X-Rite Tray application running in the background, you need to exit/quit them for Calibrite PROFILER to function.

To quit the profiling software Tray Application, right-click on the Tray icon in the bottom right in Windows Taskbar and select Quit. The tray may be in the additional items menu that is opened by clicking the up arrow in the bottom right taskbar.

Once the tray has been closed, restart the Calibrite PROFILER application.

 

NOTE: Calibrite PROFILER v1 is not supported on Virtual PC
