Thomas is a passionate photographer with his own studio in Karlsruhe-Durlach. Whether shooting portraits, advertising images, band shots, on location, or in the studio, Thomas really loves to give free scope to his creativity and to portray people in all their facets. He is not only a Calibrite Ambassador but is also an Olympus Visionary influencer, a member of the TAMRON Academy, and a Manfrotto Ambassador. Thomas shares his knowledge in workshops and webinars, which have become an integral part of his everyday life, and so he is increasingly developing into a coach and presenter. As the patron and organizer of the Karlsruhe Photo Days and the Karlsruhe Photo Marathon, he wholeheartedly dedicates himself to his passion and proves time and again what is achievable as a photographer.

Why is color management important to your workflow?

Only through coherent color management can I achieve the best possible results for my customers. This begins with capture, continues on the screen, and ends with the finished print. It is important for me that I can always rely on the equipment from Calibrite.

What would you say is your greatest achievement to this day?

My greatest success is that I have made my passion my profession and that I can make a living from it. At the same time, I am very happy that I have a very intensive partnership with some great companies and that my career is accompanied by various great exhibitions and publications.

What is an interesting fact about yourself?

Well, it’s best you get to know me and I can reveal it to you at one of my workshops!

What is a top tip for people who aspire to do what you do?

You have to burn for what you like to do and reinvent yourself every single day. Always have your goal in mind.
