Francesco has always had a love for nature and the curiosity to discover the uses and traditions of the populations in the world, so much so that he picked up the camera almost for fun, but over time, he realized that that simple click was something stronger, something that allowed him to immortalize what he saw and wanted to remember. Along with his university studies, he also began to study books on photography and various photographic genres to find out which one suited him and his “photographic eye”. To date, after almost twenty years, Francesco dedicates himself to the search for the perfect photograph, whether it’s a pristine landscape or a chef’s dish; in each of his photos, he looks for perfection and a combination of colors. The colors are that different thing, always present, in each of his photographs.

Why is color management important to your workflow?

In my photographic style, colors are very important.
In travel photography, but especially in food photography, it is necessary to have perfect colors.
Nothing has to be fake, because the observer has to perfectly understand what he is seeing.

What would you say is your greatest achievement to this day?

I think that every day I wake up doing what I’ve always dreamed of is a great success.
Being a photographer is what I’ve always wanted to do.
Between a trip, a food session and a course where I teach my students what photography is, that’s all I’ve always dreamed of doing.

What is an interesting fact about yourself?

Many say that the interesting thing about me is that I put love and passion in all my photographic activities.
Having created my large business, alone and without anyone’s help, many take me as an example and a source of inspiration.

What is a top tip for people who aspire to do what you do?

To be aware that the path is long, difficult, and that every day is a challenge and we must always think about being active.
Never stop, always create something new and interesting.
Insert yourself in every photograph, because you need to be yourself to create a personal style that can be distinguished from other photographers.

In every photograph it is important to immortalize and reproduce the true colors.
The observer must see what I photograph, the reality.
With the Calibrite calibration tools, I am able to obtain perfect color management and reality during the shooting and development of the file
